He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Simmons and Bennie Simmons (Hunter); his son Chad Owens; and his brothers, Bob Simmons and Travis Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Sue Simmons (Kerr); his children, Robert Alan Simmons, Thomas Owens (Kelsi) and Jennifer Lynn Simmons; his grandchildren, Justice Simmons, Gabriel Simmons, Janelle Thompson, Austin Owens, Cadence Owens, Brinley Owens, Daylin Owens, Braden Wireman (Oriana), Elijah Brown and Tytan Brown; his great grandchildren, Liam, Lukis, Lakoda, Lylah, Amaya and Paige; and his siblings, Walter Simmons, Denny Simmons (Joyce), Sue Laferty, Wilma Wyatt, Sharon Anderson (Mike), Charlene Barch, Lisa Shackart (Ralph) and Carol Simmons.
