He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Evelyn Short (Martin) and Osborn Bennett; his granddaughter Mary Josephine Laughlin; and his grandmother Ada Mae Martin Forbush (Thomas). He is survived by: his children, Tammera Louise Bennett Laughlin (Patrick) and Matthew E. Bennett; his grandchildren, Paige Danner, Haley Laughlin and Mark Laughlin; his great grandchildren, Mason Wise and Margot Wise; his sister Donna Kay Short DePinta (Roger); and his aunt Ruth Ann Forbush Harper.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in William's honor to the Scioto Lodge #6 Scholarship Fund, 57 East Main Street, Chillicothe; or to the Adena Hospice Group.
