He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Norman and Rachel Brown (Snyder); and his sister Caroline. He is survived by: his wife Patricia K. Ames (Patty); his brother Jack Brown (Joanne); his nieces, Shelley Komrska (Steve), Robyn Dow (Chris) and Katie Young (Bob); and his great-nephews, Jeffrey Thomas (Wenche), Alan Thomas (Allyn) and John Thomas (Corrie).
