He was predeceased by: his mothers, Pearl Broughton and Irene Broughton; his family Mary Ann; his wife Mary Ann Broughton; and his siblings, Charles Broughton, Jerry Broughton, Bobby Broughton, Norma Jean Lemaster and Verna Horton.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Broughton (Shirley Liddington); his granddaughter Paige Broughton; his great grandchild Jude Daniel Broughton; and his siblings, Franklin D. Broughton (Ruth), Betti Jean Owens, Bonnie Fazio, Phyllis Park (Ken) and Brenda Martin (Dan).
