He was predeceased by: his wife Dollie Lenora Straughn; his mother Ida Mae Stevenson; his stepdaughter Jacqueline Way; and his stepgranddaughter Aishia. He is survived by: his father Clinton Straughn; his stepson James Maurice Runyon (Leah); his grandchildren, Maura, Qamar and Asadullah "Dullah"; his sister Lisa Paisley (Russel); and his niece Kristen. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
