He is survived by: his children, Paula Kirkwood (Michael), Andrea Golac (Erin), Andrew C. Golac (Donna), Julie Shannon (Jim) and Diane Pitely (Tom); his stepdaughter Cindy Haines (Tom); his son Mike Avery (Joyce); and his godson Zachary Haines. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
