She is survived by: her son Arthur Nathaniel Barfield Jr.; her grandson Edward Barfield; her son-in-law Carl McDougal; her siblings, John Alfred, Josie, Benny, Betty Jean, Ethel and Joseph Jr.; her children, Jewel, Phillip, Tammy, Jackie, Erika and Pamela; her sister Pauline; and her son-in-law Ken Faison. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
