She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Patten and Martha Patten; and her siblings, Thaddeus W. Rodgers, Laverne Hughes and Samuel L. Patten.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Wheeler, Michael Shriver (Kristie), Duwayne Shriver (Susan), Donald Daniels (Rovonda) and Wendell Daniels (Kim). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
