He is survived by: his son Mike Gibson; his daughter-in-law Colleen Mahoney; his daughter Lori Slover; his grandchildren, Jillian Slover, Mikayla Gibson, Alexander Gibson and Molly Gibson; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Hodge, Leah Jo Carroll, Ricky Curry and Charles Loomis. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
