He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Erika Newell; his parents, Arthur Sr. Menkhaus and Louise Menkhaus; and his sister Mary Louise Horstmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Toni; his children, Lynn Lewis, Greg Menkhaus, Amy Wells (Larry), Julie Quante (Steve) and Diane Wooten (Chris); his grandchildren, Kyle Menkhaus, Kristen Groenke (Michael), Rachel Wells, Abby Wells, David Quante (Kathryn), Matthew Quante (Collette), Derrick Newell, Steven Newell and Laura Newell; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Cameron Groenke, Carson Newell, Jane Nixon, Psalm Newell and Alba Carter; and his brother Robert Menkhaus.
