She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Henry and Oval Smith; her husband Charles Lewis Cox; her brother Wilburn Smith; and her mother-in-law Virgie Neal Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Riggs (Ted Clingner) of Newport, KY; her son-in-law Nicholas Riggs of Louisville, KY; her siblings, Zelma Burns of Norwood, OH, Sylvia Cupp (Ernest) of Williamsburg, KY, Lucille Montgomery of Norwood, OH, Ralph Smith of Norwood, OH and Delmer Smith (Pat) of Cincinnati, OH; and her nephew David Cupp (Pam) of Corbin, KY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
