He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Gruen; and his niece Lucy. He is survived by: his mother Teri Gruen; his sisters, Meghan Johnson (Zach) and Amber Putz (Curran); his nieces and nephews, Henry, Auggie, Wells and Jonah; his partner Krystle Young; and his partner's son James. He is also survived by his grandmother, stepmom, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
