Baltazar Garza Anaya Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Baltazar Garza Anaya of Cincinnati, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Baltazar Garza Anaya to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Santos Garza of Anaya and Antonio Santos; his wife Marilyn DeLay; and his siblings, Rebeca, Hermila, Aristeo, Marcial, Antonio and Araceli.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Maria (Don Hudepohl) and George Antonio "Tony" (Maura); his grandchildren, Chris Steelman (Brittany), Justin Steelman (Brittany), Lauren Weiss (Chris Watkins), Addy Anaya, Thomas Anaya and Mateo Anaya; his great grandchildren, Blakely, Daxtin, Brynlee, Ava, Colten and Emma Steelman; and his sisters, Santos, Evelia and Berta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati.
