It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barry Ward of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 69, on February 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Barry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard and Phyllis Ann Ward (Wilking); his daughter Amanda Ward; and his brother Dennis Ward. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Drees (Derrick) and Joshua Ward (Tiffany); his brother Brian Ward; and his grandchildren, Theodore Drees, Evelyn Ward and Elliott Ward.

“I worked with Mr. Ward at Roberts Academy and always enjoyed seeing him. He always had a smile to offer and an encouraging word when it was needed. The students loved working with Mr. Ward and he brought a smile to them as well. Through the years working with him, I have so many memories of him making us smile and laugh. He had such a loving heart and personality. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with him. Sending love and comfort to his family.”
