He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Whalen and Soteris Whalen; his son Christopher; his granddaughters, Kari (Stephen), Kristi (Nick) and Kandice (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Jackson, Austin, Skylar, Adrianna and Ashton; his wife Arlene; and his siblings, Teri and Bob.
He is survived by: his son Michael; and his brothers, Paul (Barb) and Phil (Valerie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A procession was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Home - TriCounty (11285 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246).
