She was predeceased by: her husband David W. Tincher; and her siblings, Harold Newman, Charles Newman, Wilma Newman, Hurshel Newman, Dorvin Newman, Elvoid Newman, Phyllis Newman Sterling, Florine Newman Burke and Carol Newman.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Sears (Edwin), David (Patti), Robert (Catherine) and Patrick Tincher (Miyheon); her grandchildren, Eric, Zachary, Emily, Moses, Joshua Tincher, Charles and Misty Flippin; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Isabella Tincher and Jackson Flippin; and her brother Larry Newman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
