He was predeceased by: his father James Lee Tinsley, Sr.; and his siblings, Catherine Lee Arrington (Walter) and James Lee Tinsley, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothea Fisher; his wife Cynthia Tinsley; his children, Alicia Marie Tinsley, Tiffany Tiara Tinsley (Terrance), De'Anna Nicole Tinsley and Jonathan Anthony Garner; and his grandchildren, Aniya, G'Sean, G'Von, Korey, TreMar'e and Trenton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.

Bobby's last place of employment was working for UC Hoxworth collecting blood donations for those in critical need.
