He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Schratt (Bishop); his parents, Mildred Schratt and Ernest Schratt; and his sister Evelyn Peters (Jim). He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Frye (Buzz) and Gail Scully; his in-laws, Aileen and Lark Hoffman; his children, Gwen Bender (J. D.) and Tim Schratt (Dana); and his grandchildren, Kiersten Clark (Aaron), Jack Bender, Emma Schratt, Brent Bender, Abby Schratt and Sami Schratt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his cherished St. Aloysius on the Ohio Catholic Church or Hospice of Cincinnati, in gratitude for their loving support.
