Bruce Gers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 77, Bruce Gers of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce Gers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gers and Emma Mae Gers; and his brother Robert Gers Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gers; his children, Andrea Sponsler (Jay), Shannon Lukez (Frank) and Joseph Gers (Brandi); his grandchildren, Joseph Gers, Katie Sponsler, Sophia Sponsler, Nathan Lukez, Joshua Lukez, Emma Gers, Jacob Lukez, Madilyn Gers, Sofia Hidalgo and Michael Hidalgo; his great grandchild Greyson Gers; and his brother Stephen Gers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (1479 Locust Lake Rd, Amelia, OH 45102). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Hospice of Cincinnati or the Down Syndrome Association of Cincinnati.
