With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecil Merril Brown in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2026 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gabe and Edith Yocum Brown; his brothers, Ranzey, Dallas and Henry Clay Brown; and his stepdaughters, Gwen and Gina Moore.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Brown of McKinney; his sisters, Rosie Johnson of Lincoln County, Shirley Meadows of Waynesburg and Frances Brown of Stanford; his grandson Zane Marlow; and his stepgrandchildren, LeeAnne, Emily, Gary Lee, Katie, Casey, Felecia and Ashley. He is also survived by step great grandchildren; step great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
