He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis H. Rahe and Ida Rahe (Seth); his wife Emily Dau Rahe; his son-in-law Christian Montgomery; his brother Donald Rahe; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Rahe, William Fehling and John Dunnette.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Rahe (Shelley) of Chester Springs, PA and Leanne Montgomery of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister Flo Dunnette of Rising Sun, IN; his grandchildren, Alexandra Lindsay (Roddy), Grace Montgomery (Samuel Gerweck) and Daniel Montgomery (Allison Rodman); his stepgrandsons, Connor and Ethan Herring; and his great grandchildren, Marietta, Blaise, Lyle, Frederick and Hannah. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
