He was predeceased by: his son Tom Harpring; his wife Pat Harpring; and his siblings, Charlotte Miller, Robert Harpring, Dorothy Lenahan, James Harpring and Ruth Fathman.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Harpring and Deborah Sadelfeld; his grandsons, Alan Eccard (Ashley), Christopher Eccard (Courtney) and Tyler Sadelfeld (Danielle); his great grandchildren, Christian, Connor and Charlie; his brother Donald Harpring; Ruth Jansen.
