He was predeceased by: his wife Irene C. Reddington; his parents, John Elon Reddington Sr. and Norma Marie Campbell Reddington; his niece Dondi Reece; his brother Steven Campbell; his nephew Bryan Winters; and his uncle Danny Campbell.

He is survived by: his children, Melissa Lawson (Wes), Charles Reddington II and Amanda Yulfo (Rinaldo); and his siblings, Dee Reece (Don), Irene Shurlin (Ron), Clara Stanton (Harvey), Linda McDaniel (Bill), John Reddington (Margie), Chris Reddington (Carla) and Joe Reddington (Sandy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
