He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Stewart and Della Stewart (Little); and his siblings, June Plemons, Shirley Owens, Jean Blackburn, Helen Chadwell and James Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Della Stewart, Charles Stewart Jr., Robert Stewart, Candice Stewart, Aleeah Stewart, Henry Stewart and Arthur Wolf; his wife Margie Stewart (Neely); his grandchildren, Erica Smith, Connor Neely, Kelsey Neely, Katelynn Tolle, Michael Matcalf, Presley Stewart, Isaiah Stewart, Reese Stewart, Sophia Stewart and Celena Hodson; his great grandchildren, Riley Neely, Cason Hodson, Treazure Kearney and Kay Kearney; his son Johnny Ray Neely; and his grandson Charles Edward Chatterton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at the Bear Creek Cemetery (172 N Union Rd, Dayton, OH 45417).
