It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Levi Banks Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Banks and Daisy Banks; his wife Margerine Hull Banks; his brothers, Fletcher, Jerry and Isaac; and his sister-in-law Beatrice.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Anthony Banks, Angela Michelle Banks and Carolyne Diane Banks; his siblings, Purnell (Beatrice), Charles (Ida), Mattie Straughter (Rufus), Curtis (Bobbie), Barbara Franklin and Daisy Burnice Banks; his sisters-in-law, Dolly and Pat; and his niece Victoria Burt. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; scores of cousins.
