He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Ahern II. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen J. Ahern (Nee O'Neill); his children, Alexa and Valerie Ahern (James Roche); his father Joseph J. II; his brothers, Joseph J. Ahern III (Kym), Michael Ahern, James Ahern (Melanie), Denis Ahern (Valerie Buchert) and Terrence Ahern (Stephanie); and his brothers-in-law, Kevin O'Neill (Teresa) and Patrick O'Neill (Joyce). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
