She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Rody and Ruth Emily Rody (Sisler); and her brother William Rody. She is survived by: her siblings, Charity, Sister Ruth, Robert and Joseph Rody (Rusty). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was later elected to the leadership team of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, serving one term from 2011 to 2015.
