He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jessie Belle and Christopher Schumacher, Sr.; his wife Linda Schumacher; his children, Tina Turner (late Dennis), Kim VonBargen (Eric) and Christopher Clinton Schumacher, III; his grandchildren, Ethan VonBargen, Alex Turner, Kurtis VonBargen, Elise Turner and Konnor VonBargen; and his sister Norma.
