We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 93, Claire Steinmetz (Cincinnati, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. (Clara Teepen) and Claire; her husband Stanley C. Steinmetz; her daughter-in-law Melissa Steinmetz; and her siblings, Ruth Roedersheimer (late Jack), Robert Teepen (late Marge), Vincent Teepen (late Dorothy), Viola Teepen, Raymond Teepen and Joseph H. Teepen, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Kent Steinmetz (Kelly), Scott Steinmetz and Lisa Young (Michael); her grandchildren, Nick Steinmetz, Jennifer Brueggemann (Kurt), Christina Jelen (Brad), Matthew, Jessica, Brandon Steinmetz, Alex and Drew Young; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Makenzie, Octavia and Graham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Frederick Funeral Home (2553 Banning Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (3565 Hubble Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247).
In lieu of flowers, Claire's family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), an organization that embodies the love and generosity that Claire exemplified throughout her life.
