She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Meyer (Bob) and Catherine Meyer; her husband Dennis William Layer; and her siblings, John Meyer (Lynn) and Kathy Meyer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cassandra "Casey" Carsello and Nicole Ducklo (Stephen); and her siblings, Bob Meyer (Carole), Ken Meyer (Sue), Tom Meyer (Suzanne), Bill Meyer (Joyce), Joanne Lombardi, Margie Metz (Bill) and Teresa Wolfer (Tim). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
