He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leatherwood and Minnie Leatherwood; and his brother William Leatherwood. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Leatherwood; his children, Gina Anaple (Gary), Eric Leatherwood and Tara (Cedric); his grandchildren, Timothy Walker (Justine), Paige, Shelly Leatherwood, Briana, Garrison, Jared, Payton, Rylee Glover and Presley Glover; his siblings, Doris Barnett (Gordon) and Morris Leatherwood; and his in-laws, Danny and Regina Daily. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
