He was predeceased by: his parents, Sol Long and Mossie Long; and his sisters, Omega Hopkins, Edith Gregory, Virginia Schoettinger and Pearl Wilkerson.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Long; his children, Randy Baker (Tanya), Rhonda Wilson (Wendel), Elaine Bridges (Scott) and Dan Scott; his grandchildren, Brittany Prather, Ryan Baker, Haley Baker, Justin Wilson, Mitchell Wilson and Destiny Bridges; and his siblings, Sylvania Holmes and Opal Morris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to New Haven Missionary Baptist Church or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
