With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Colton Scott Alexander Fields of Cincinnati, Ohio, born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 25. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Judy Elaine Fields; and his cousin Tyler Shane Fields. He is survived by: his parents, Scott Fields and Kim Fields (Gratz); his brothers, Austin of Mount Vernon and Ethan of Mount Vernon; his grandparents, Bill, Barb Fields of Howard, Gene and Janice Gratz of Lexington; his aunts and uncles, Shane, Kathy Fields of Fredericktown, Skyler, Carla Fields of Centerburg, Sherrod, Rachel Fields of Centerburg, Jim and Amy Ferguson (Gratz) of Mount Vernon; his cousins, Trevor, Katie, Kara, Travis, Sidney, Makenzie, Courtlyn, Allyson, Holly, Franko, Minka, Anika, Olivia and Cooper; his kitty Charcoal; and his son Noah Shremshock of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home (201 Newark Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Moundview Cemetery.
