He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Stoops; his children, Lynn Renee Stoops and Sheri Christine Baker (Mark); his grandsons, Silas Grover Baker and Eli David Baker; his siblings, Leona Therou and Lloyd Stoops; and his parents, Francis Stoops and Martha Stoops.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
