He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel F. Burke and Eugenia Burke Sr.; his wife Joan Burke; his children, Daniel F. Burke III (Kate), Megan Herndon (Adam) and Logan Burke; his grandchildren, Reid, Rory and Mia; his brother Dave Burke (Kathy); and his niece Erin Burke (Jamieson Schapker).
Memorials may be made to St. Xavier High School or the Fernbank Golf Course.
