He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Perrine McLane and Olla Alice McLane; his spouse Jaishree; his children, Ian and Meera; his brother Richard McLane (Dave); his sister-in-law Deborah McLane (Debbie); and his sibling's children, Richard McLane and Alyson King. He was also cherished by his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the newly-founded Daniel Perrine McLane Memorial Fund, allowing his legacy of providing for children in need to carry on in his memory. The funds will be donated to the town of San Juan Bautista in the Suchitepequez Department of Guatemala, to provide educational resources, food, and clothing to the children of the town.
