He is survived by: his children, Rachel Scanlon and Rob Gilkey (Lani); his grandchildren, Liam, Melody, Gabe, Will, Spencer and Elena; and his siblings, Sharon Boland (Jim), Bob Gilkey (Linda) and Pam (Harry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
