He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stenger and Jennie Stenger; his wife Margaret Stenger; and his siblings, Patricia "Pat" Nicholson, Margaret "Peggy" Schafstall and Bartley "Dutch" Stener.
He is survived by: his sons, Dan Stenger Jr. and Jerry Stenger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
