He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gleason and Rita Gleason; and his sister Mary Ann Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gleason (Quatkemeyer); his child Shannon Daniels (Gleason); his grandchildren, Caitlin Daniels (Jacob Fischer), Tara Daniels, Leanne Cuozzo and Jeffrey Daniels (Richenda); his siblings, Ray (Donna), Tim and Jackie Gleason; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Sweeney, Sharline Quatkemeyer, Jean Fleig (Larry) and Jane Schank. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Danny's name to the American Cancer Society or Hospice if Cincinnati.
