He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Charlane; his sisters, Darlene Schimerman and Dianne Bricking; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Kessler and Richard Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kessler Walz; his children, Ian, Megan and David Walz; his grandchild Thomas Saathoff; his siblings, Dennis, Dean, Darran Walz (Lisa) and Donna Biddle; his mother-in-law Jean Kessler; and his siblings-in-law, Stan Schimerman, Larry Kessler (Nancy), Jim Kessler (Gerry), Ann Lampe (Dennis), Patti Kessler and Shari Kessler. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
