He was predeceased by: his parent Pat Tensing (Nee Pollman). He is survived by: his wife Diane Tensing (Nee Weibel); his children, Alexandria and Nicholas Tensing; his father David A. Tensing; his parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Weibel; his sister Shelley Barsan (Scott); his siblings-in-law, Chris Weibel (Stephanie), Dan Weibel (Sue) and Susan Frooman (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Sam, Sophie (Jack Barsan), Reid (Ben Weibel) and Kyland (Korissa Frooman). He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Unbound, 1 Elmwood Ave., Kansas City, KS 66103.

I have shared our stories, I have laughed until tears flowed, and Sorrow filled me over situations we had to mustered through. Fifty years of knowing Dave has just wizzed by and our stories etched in my memory. My Parents, and my siblings who have shared these stories and memories will always acknowledge a fond memory of Dave. Along with these flowers, we have enrolled Dave in the Blue Army of the Blessed Mother in Fatima, Portugal. He will be prayed for continually. Sincerely, Allan Gleisinger and his entire family.”
