With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David R. Schumacher (Cincinnati, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 69. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schumacher and Georgia Schumacher. He is survived by: his brother Mark Schumacher (Tina); and his sibling's children, Christy Irwin (Josh), Julie Tyahur (Jake), Traci Reinshagen (Derek) and Jonathan Schumacher (Hannah Riess).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home (4619 Delhi Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205).
