He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian C. Steele and Ada Steele (Woodruff); and his siblings, Ruth, John, Homer, Chris, Roe, Ralph, Ida Lee (Belle), Ruby, Tommy and Erlene.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Mae Combs; his son Jeffrey Davis Steele (Kendal); and his grandchildren, Christian Davis Steele (Breanne) and Kaelyn Gilmour (Drew).
