He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald William Zimmerman and Marian Estelle Bing. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Love; his children, Anne Zimmerman-Reed, Michael Zimmerman, Jesse Kidwell (Kelly), Adam Kidwell (Barb), Paul Kidwell-Robinson (Ricky), Andrew Love (Sarah) and Travis Dietrich (Mary); his grandchildren, Abby Reed, Sophie Reed, JoJo Reed, Dylan Zimmerman, Jacob Zimmerman, Emily Zimmerman, Gracie Zimmerman, Meridith Gilmore, Rylee Robinson, Mackenzie Kidwell, Kylee Kidwell, Sydnee Kidwell and Caycee Kidwell; and his great grandchild Peyton Gilmore.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Smart Recovery (https://secure.everyaction.com) , an organization that Dean held dear to his heart.
