She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Swede" Cavanaugh and Audrey Cavanaugh; her uncle Dr. Donald George; and her doodles, Cooper and Sammy.
She is survived by: her stepchild Lauren Virginia; her husband Mike; her children, Matt Brooks and Lauren Brooks; her siblings, Sharon Swendseid (Jim), Mary Lou Faulkner (Dan) and Michael "Mick" Cavanaugh; her mother-in-law Barbara Brooks; her siblings-in-law, Dean Brooks, Mary Brooks of Virginia, Cathy Pennell and Jennifer Shelton (Shawn); and her nieces, Megan Kreuscher (Phil), Rebecca Faulkner, Anna Leigh Rogers (Jake) and Jillian Shelton. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Debbie's honor to St. Jude's Hospital, the Ovarian Cancer Research Association, or Hospice of Cincinnati.
