He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Shelton and Harriet Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Shelton; his daughter Melissa "Missy" Shelton; his sister Linda Shelton-Loveridge; his niece Shandra Pallenik; his sister-in-law Cheryl O. Brinker; and his nephew Nicholas Brinker.
