Family will receive friends at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223 on Saturday, January 12, 2019, visitation from noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM. Dennis had been battling lung cancer since May of 2018, his passing was attributed to a side effect of Chemo. His passing was sudden, at home, and he did not suffer.

If you knew Dennis, your life was richer, and you laughed more. He was a proud Marine who served his country in Vietnam as part of a battalion landing team, Intelligence and in the 7th motor transport battalion. Dennis continued throughout his life to help hundreds of veterans who suffered when they returned from war. Over the years he improved and saved so many lives.

Dennis would receive calls in the middle of the night and he always picked up, he never turned anyone away. Through his career, Dennis was an iron worker, a postal carrier, a counselor for the DAV and was the lead vocalist in a road band. He was a gifted writer/author and performer. Dennis loved his family and didn't want to leave us, he fought hard, but God wanted him back.

Though we will mourn his death for many years to come, Dennis would want us to accept Gods will and trust in, "The Mystery of Faith".
