He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Piening and Evelyn Piening; his wife Connie; and his brothers, Albert Jr., Jim and Tom.
He is survived by: his sons, Matt (Amy) and Darryl (Terri); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Brett and Brittany; and his stepgrandsons, Zachary (Giselle) and Cody King. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; along with numerous family members and friends.
