She was predeceased by: her husband Freeman Ray Mitchell; her parents, Harry Jones and Adrienne Ruth Jones Christensen; her son Donald Ray Mitchell; and her siblings, Clifford Jones, Mary Kiskadden, Martha Harmon, Frances Blevins, Sylvia Blevins and Sandra Blevins.
She is survived by: her grandson Kevin Ray Mitchell; her brother Glenn Jones; and her close friend Lisa Drake. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home (301 E 4th St, Augusta, KY 41002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
