He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest William (Bill) and Cora Caracci Dakin; and his brother Mark (Rusty). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hamm Dakin; his siblings, Gary Dakin (Deborah) and Lora Dakin; his children, Benjamin Dakin (Christina), Angela Dakin, Shannon Singleton and Leslie Singleton Shell; and his grandchildren, Brianna Smith (Corby), MacKenzie Gillespie (Spencer), Charlotte Campbell, Aiden Shell, Lillian Dakin, Declan Haley and Abigail Dakin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
